To 28.May 2010 took place the first conference „of the European Day OF DotNetNuke “in Paris. For me this was the first international meeting to DotNetNuke. According to excited I was also to meet the other core team members with whom I could communicate so far only to on-line one. As the further hurdle I was intimidated by the language barrier, since I fought with my English still - since the school time already decades passed; in Paris I stated however that I am thereby not completely alone ;)

A high point for me was the meeting with DotNetNuke founder Shaun Walker, the personal contact is always something special. That is valid also for the meeting with the other core members and many further DotNetNuke Professionals from Europe, with which I could attach contacts. I positively felt that this meeting brought Europe together, from Portugal to Belarus, to for the first time the DotNetNuke expert out completely - a giant success!

Altogether the meeting was a round thing: It began already on Thursday evening with the Gettogether party, where approx. 80 participants already traveled intensively used the opportunity to learn themselves and exchange. On Friday it fell heavily to select under the many parallel lectures the most interesting ones - much too many exciting topics stood on the program, which were presented by qualified advisers. In the evening all speakers and supervisors met then again to the Dinner, where one could round off the meeting still with good discussions and contacts.

Saturday mornings met then still the members of DNN-Europe.net, in order to discuss further activities. The end of this meeting was rung in then with a lunch, and ended for the hard core with a navigation on the Seine and a small inspection route by Paris.

Altogether the meeting was very well organized: on the one hand the modern out-permitted conference center of Microsoft Paris presents itself only in such a way itself for such meetings: technically fully equipped conference rooms and communitative Lobby, where beside the food supply also the exhibitors were industriously visited to their conditions. In addition, the restaurant for the Gettogether party and the boat for the Speakers Dinner gave special flair to the meeting.

DNN Europe, the European network of the DNN Professionals, delivered a successful entrance meeting together with the French Usergroup, makes the desire on more;). Sebastian Leupold and the Orga-team cordial thanks!

When result was I with the European Day OF DotNetNuke more than contently and it hopes that it further of these conferences giving and that with the next meeting still more user participates, in order to lend to DotNetNuke in Europe the appropriate weight.
